Abstract
In modern literature, novels occupy a special place in dealing with social issues and feminist messages. There has been a tendency in the society for ages to respect men and women as superior and women as inferior. When a woman is born on earth, she is subjected to many problems and complications in her lifetime. The concept of slavery of women in society still persists. Although women were given education, rights and equal rights between men and women. The woman was not given full rights. Men have the right to live independently in society. If a woman lives alone or wants to live, she does not have adequate protection. Society speaks ill of them. Society has forced women to live under the authority of men. In that manner, the aim of this study is to explore concepts such as the distinctiveness of femininity, the purpose of womanhood, the status of women, female oppression, patriarchy, women's progress, the struggles of life, and the enemies of femininity as reflected in the works of the Writer Imayam.
