Poet Sakthi Jothi Poems Revealing Sangam Internal Tradition
Abstract
No later literature appeared without the influence of the internal traditions of theft and chastity presented by the Sangam literatures. Even in the history of Tamil literature there did not appear to have been any major changes in the content of the biographies unless there were changes in the literary forms. Despite the many changes that have taken place in human life due to political, economic, scientific and social reasons, the impact of ancient traditions on the biographies of love, romance, marriage, separation and waiting can still be seen. This article seeks to reconcile the biographies found in the poems of the poet Sakti Jothi with the internal traditions of the society, with the aim of revealing the origins of the nobility of the tradition if they are restored in a simple literary style.
