Abstract

Rajagopalan's short story novel, poetry, verse poetry, one-act play, critical biography and translation have made his mark in many fields. F. P. Rajagopalan was born in January 1902. Telugu Brahmin belongs to the Karnakamma sect. His father was Pattabhiramayar and mother Janakiamal. Two sisters. Akka Rajammal. Sister K.P.Sethu Ammal is a writer. Since his father worked in the South Indian Railways, the family lived in Trichy. Gopalan joined the government job as a clerk in Melur taluk of Madurai district. He was promoted to Revenue Inspector. He served in the government for ten years. He believed that a short story was about boldly writing and highlighting the real stories of life.
