Article Processing Charges (APC) Information

NanoNEXT (ISSN 2582-8622, Online) is a fully open access, peer reviewed journal published by the Asian Research Association. All articles published in NanoNEXT are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access charges for readers.

To support the publication and dissemination of open access content, NanoNEXT charges a onetime Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts that are accepted for publication. The APC supports the costs of manuscript handling, editorial administration, peer review management, professional production, website hosting and maintenance, DOI registration, digital preservation, and dissemination of published articles.

Article Processing Fees

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts accepted for publication in NanoNEXT is as follows:

  • For Indian Authors: INR 20,000 + 18% GST (Total: INR 23,600).
  • For International Authors: USD 400.

The applicable APC is determined based on the corresponding author's primary institutional affiliation at the time of manuscript submission.

Other Author Charges

IRJMT does not charge any submission fee, editorial processing fee, page charge, colour charge, or publication-stage fee other than the APC stated above.

Waiver / Discount Policy

NanoNEXT offers a 100% Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver for all manuscripts submitted on or before 31 December 2026.

Under this special waiver initiative, eligible manuscripts will be exempt from the full APC, irrespective of the corresponding author's country of affiliation.

The waiver applies to manuscripts submitted within the specified period and subsequently accepted for publication following the journal's standard editorial and peer review process. Manuscripts submitted on or before 31 December 2026 will remain eligible for the full APC waiver even if the final editorial decision or publication occurs after the waiver period.

For manuscripts submitted on or after 1 January 2027, the standard APC rates stated above will apply, unless otherwise announced on the journal website.

Editorial Independence

All matters relating to APCs and waiver eligibility are handled separately from the editorial and peer review process. Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of academic merit, originality, relevance to the journal, and overall scholarly quality. An author's eligibility for an APC waiver, or ability or inability to pay, will not influence the peer review process, editorial evaluation, acceptance, or rejection of a manuscript.

Payment Terms

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Upon acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an invoice and payment instructions.

Manuscripts qualifying for the full APC waiver until 31 December 2026 will not be subject to any APC payment.

Policy Transparency

This APC Policy applies to all submissions to NanoNEXT and is published to ensure transparency for authors before submission. Any future changes to APCs or the waiver policy will be updated on the journal website before they apply to new submissions.

NanoNEXT is committed to transparent publishing practices, ethical editorial standards, and the responsible dissemination of high-quality scholarly research in nanoscience and nanotechnology through open access.
