Abstract

Women writers have portrayed the challenges that women undergo in their family, male domination, domestic violence in their work of art. This paper aims to focus on the same objective. Women are treated as an object in terms of business, sexual object by the men community. Their Emotion and feelings have lost its way. Matrimony is considered to be the most scared incident in a women's life. Women lost their independence in choosing partner by their own father. Female infanticide is still continued even today. Working women professionals are also exposed to sexual abuse in the working atmosphere. Women writers have pointed out these injustices against women in their works. This paper brings out the importance of independence in the life of every women and also the emancipation of the oppressed.
